{"id":6700,"date":"2024-06-12T16:26:33","date_gmt":"2024-06-12T16:26:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.vis-tourism.com\/uncategorized\/practical-advice-2\/"},"modified":"2024-06-12T16:26:33","modified_gmt":"2024-06-12T16:26:33","slug":"practical-advice-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vis-tourism.com\/en\/useful-informations\/practical-advice-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Practical advice"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"naslov-plavi-plaze\"><strong>Outdoor activities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tell relatives or friends the route and plan of your journey<\/li>\n<li>Walk on marked paths and trails<\/li>\n<li>Take sufficient quantities of water with you<\/li>\n<li>Prepare adequate clothing and footwear<\/li>\n<li>Prepare mobile telephone devices<\/li>\n<li>Monitor weather forecasts<\/li>\n<li>Handle open fires carefully and in line with regulations<\/li>\n<li>Do not throw cigarette butts or flammable objects outside<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"naslov-plavi-plaze\"><strong>Fire prevention<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Check that you have undertaken all the necessary measures to prevent fire!<\/li>\n<li>Do not throw burning or inflammable objects into the environment!<\/li>\n<li>Observe signs forbidding the lighting of fires!<\/li>\n<li>Take care that your parked vehicles do not obstruct fire fighting vehicle approaches and access roads.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"naslov-plavi-plaze\"><strong>What should you do in case of fire?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Immediately notify the fire brigade of the fire on the telephone number 112. Use a hand-held fire extinguisher (if one is available) and only attempt to extinguish the fire if doing so does not endanger you or others.<\/li>\n<li>Notify people in the area about the fire.<\/li>\n<li>FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS GIVEN BY THE FIRE BRIGADE<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"naslov-plavi-plaze\"><strong>REMEMBER<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Non compliance with fire protection regulations will result in the Ministry of Internal Affairs raising a violation report or imposing a fine on the perpetrator.<\/p>\n<p class=\"naslov-plavi-plaze\"><strong>On the road<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Avoid traffic jams during the peak tourism season and driving at weekends and holidays,<\/li>\n<li>Be well rested when driving,<\/li>\n<li>Adjust your speed to the conditions on the road and the speed limits,<\/li>\n<li>In the event of a traffic jam, be patient and take sufficient quantities of water with you.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"naslov-plavi-plaze\"><strong>At sea<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In case of an accident or sea pollution, call 9155 (National Headquarters for Search and Rescue at Sea) or 112.<\/li>\n<li>Before setting sail, inform yourself of the weather forecast, especially for the Adriatic,<\/li>\n<li>While swimming, stay in sight of other swimmers,<\/li>\n<li>Inform family and friends of the approximate location in which you will be diving and mark the area appropriately,<\/li>\n<li>Moderate your exposure to the sun and use protective mediums<\/li>\n<li>Do not overestimate your own capabilities,<\/li>\n<li>Have sufficient quantities of drinking water with you.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"naslov-plavi-plaze\"><strong>Environmental protection<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The protection of biodiversity is in compliance with valid EU regulations.<\/li>\n<li>With regards to swimming, the waters of the Croatian Adriatic Sea are of a high quality according to EU criteria.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Outdoor activities Tell relatives or friends the route and plan of your journey Walk on marked paths and trails Take sufficient quantities of water with you Prepare adequate clothing and [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[144],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-6700","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-useful-informations"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.3 -
