This summer, we’re swimming in Vis once again… come and swim across Vis Bay with us!

Registration is now open for the 26th Vis Swimming Marathon, traditionally organized by the Vis Tourist Board!

We invite all swimmers, recreational athletes, and enthusiasts to join us on Saturday, 15 August 2026, in Vis and become part of one of the Adriatic’s most beautiful summer sporting events.

Look forward to a fantastic sporting atmosphere, crystal-clear sea, prizes for the fastest swimmers, and a great gathering after the race.

The marathon starts at 6:00 PM from the islet of Host, with the finish line at the Customs Pier (Carinski Gat) in the Port of Vis. The 2.2-kilometre course crosses Vis Bay, offering a rewarding test of endurance while remaining accessible to recreational swimmers.

The event is open to all participants aged 14 and over. Competitors under the age of 18 must provide written consent from a parent or legal guardian (Minor Participant Consent Form).
